Your puppy must also be up to date with their vaccinations. We recommend you wait at least 2 weeks after their first vaccine before coming to classes. We cannot let you attend if you forget the certificate.
Please bring your puppy on a lead and collar.

What to expect?
Puppy preschool is not just about training the puppy. Puppy preschool incorporates:
- Puppy training basics - Sit, Come, Drop etc in an environment that is challenging for your puppy.
- Training YOU the owner. Although you may have had dogs before, there are a lot of new and old information, that you may not have been aware of. Each week a different lesson of around 15-20 minutes is explained while your pup is playing and you are given a handout to take away with you. We cover responsible dog ownership, frequently asked questions, behaviour and also a talk about veterinary things.
- Socialisation - Studies have shown that dogs that have not socialised at a young age (typically between 8-16 weeks of age) never learn to properly socialise with other animals. This is why puppy preschool was created, so that puppies that are not fully vaccinated could play together while minimising the risk of disease. Even if you have another dog, we still recommend that your puppy comes to puppy preschool so they learn to socialise with other breeds. Also they get the added benefit of socialising with strangers. Your pup and yourself will have a great time meeting other puppies and people too.
