Veterinarians

Dr Darron Baynham     BVSc BSc VET MRCVS CMAVA

Dr Darron is the owner of the practice and a dedicated animal lover.  An excellent surgeon and consulting veterinarian, Darron has a siamese cat - Eponine, a burmese cat - Darcy, and 3 very energetic kelpies- Wrex, Ali, and Whisk.

Dr Darron is pictured with his cat Eponine who likes to help out in the kitchen.

Dr Darron has just received his CMAVA status.  This is awarded for high levels of continuing education and gets rereviewed each year.  This is to help keep him up to date with the latest methods of treatment and surgery to help your pets get the best.

 

Dr Emma Sharples BSc BVMS

 

Dr Emma is one of our veterinarians at Karrinyup Small Animal Hospital.  She has a particular interest in working up complex cases.  Dr Emma likes going to the beach and walking her dog Molly.

 

 

 

Dr Natalie Wittkamp BSc BVMS

Dr Natalie has 2 dogs, Chewie and Jack.  Dr Natalie enjoys seeing new cases each and every day, and enjoys chatting with clients.

Vet Nurses/Receptionists 

Rebecca VN - Qualified Veterinary Nurse

Rebecca has worked at Karrinyup Small Animal Hospital since graduating as a qualified veterinary nurse 11 years ago.  Rebecca has a pink and grey galah, 2 siamese cats, and 2 Brussel Griffon dogs which are her pride and joy.

Rebecca is pictured with her dog Lily when she was only 6 weeks old at the breeder's yard.

 

Josh - Vet nurse

Josh is soon to be qualified as a veterinary nurse.  He loves all aspects of his job, and in particular likes interacting with all his patients.

 

 

 

 

Jocelyn - Receptionist

Jocelyn is one of our receptionists.  Jocelyn loves interacting with people and their animals.

 

Laura - Receptionist

Laura is one of our receptionists and has a Bachelor's degree majoring in Zoology.

  

Melissa - Trainee Vet Nurse

 Melissa is learning to be a veterinary nurse.  She finds veterinary nursing challenging which is why she enjoys it so much.

She has just been signed up for a traineeship with TAFE.  This means Melissa learns while "on the job" and does her theory work at home.  This will take Melissa 2-3 years and then she will be a qualified veterinary nurse.

 

Sharon - Vet Nurse

Sharon is currently studying at TAFE to get her Veterinary Nursing qualification.  Sharon loves veterinary nursing, and is also a mother and wife.
