 Interesting facts for you

Did you know:

Deanne has just qualified as a veterinary nurse after doing her traineeship at Karrinyup Small Animal Hospital, through Bentley TAFE.  Well done Deanne!

2 of our staff members are going to Sri Lanka for a few weeks volunteering in an Elephant Orphanage.  Have fun!

For all you Siamese and Burmese lovers out there:

Our new stud Burmese male has just been initiated into his new life.  He has mated with our Siamese girl, Violetta.  They will have Tokinese kittens (which is Siamese/Burmese).  This will be our first litter of Tokinese, as previously we have only had Siamese kittens.  Tokinese can either be solid colours (like traditional burmese), Pointed (like Siamese) or a mix of both.

He has also mated his very best friend, Ophilia (Philly).  She is a beautiful Burmese, and they will have Burmese kittens.  How cute.

Both litters will be available at the Karrinyup Small Animal Hospital to responsible parents by Xmas 2009.

For all you Kelpie lovers:

Whisk (our kelpie) has just had a pregnancy test and she is positive!  She was mated with Wrex.  Both are purebred Kelpies.  We are expecting their litter in September, and they should be ready for new homes in November 2009.
